Coconut the new trend........? or healthy icecreams?

Image
Hey guys, SeenbyGrean with a review of coconut chocolate covered digestives! First of all id like to take time to say this biscuit combination is just......... the best thing! I'm not really a big fan of coconut but these biscuits have changed my opinion! The crunchy butter biscuit base that dissolves in your mouth, accompanied by a chocolate smooth layer with strings of coconut adding to he distinctive and unforgettable taste of the 'Jacobs Milk Chocolate Polo Biscuits'. These biscuits cost 2.19 euro in Tesco and are definitely worth the try! They contain 4.6 grams of fat, so it could be your daily treat, its definitely mine but id probably have more than one treat a day.. woopsy. On the healthier-ish side there are these ice-creams which for anyone who is trying to be good with dieting should definitely consider! We all need some treat in our life.! May I present to you the Skinny Cow, yes the skinny cow. The name itself makes me feel great, 'skinny' and

Cinnamon Iced Buns - Not a challenge anymore!

Image
Hey Guys, SeenbyGrean here bring you my recipe of the week! Last week was a Beef Massaman curry with whole grain rice and this week is.............. Cinnamon iced buns! When I first thought of the idea I presumed that they would be so hard to make! I was wrong! These buns are actually quite simple! Its basically like making a pizza dough and spreading a cinnamon flavoured filling inside, not to bad huh? These are now probably my favourite desert! They are best fresh but they last around 4-5 days and are better having been in the microwave for 40 seconds on 800wt. My friend who hates cinnamon even likes these! Ingredients; 1/4 ounce packet of yeast 1/2 cup scalded/hot milk 1/2 cup warm water 1/4 cup of sugar 1/3 cup of butter 1 tsp of salt 1 egg 3 1/2 cups of all purpose flour ( if too wet add another 1/2 cup) Cinnamon Filling; 1/2 cup of melted butter 3/4 cup of sugar 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon Glaze; 4 Tbs butter 2 cups of icing sugar 1 tsp vanilla extract

'The Returned'- Netflix- Life with a twist and 'Making A Murderer'

Image
Hey Guys, SeenByGrean here, So today I'm going to be talking about the new Netflix programme; 'The Returned' which is now one of my favourite hidden gems. The programme consists at the moment of 10 episodes all of which relate to a families who are having relatives return from the dead. It sounds a bit creepy and paranormal but trust me its not! Except there is one character who is quite spooky and I haven't yet figured out who he actually is! Once you start it you'll know who I'm talking about! The programme is quite confusing for the first half of the first episode but I convince you to continue watching because its worth it! My friend and I only started it yesterday and watched 5 episodes back to back so that convinces you that it is actually worth watching! Netflix productions in my opinion are always worth watching such as 'Orange Is the New Black' and the new release, 'Making a Murderer'. So guys I need your opinion on the new big

Osaka- New ish 'Se-X Tape'

Image
Hey Guys, SeenByGrean here, today I'm going to be discussing the new Osaka 'SE-X- TAPE'. The name, I know is quite unusual for a hockey grip for people to be asking for in shops or saying that its the name of their grip but the grip itself besides the name is my favourite hockey grip. It is quite expensive though, at 20 euro for a grip! However it does last a long time since its a 35mm/5m sham grip. I find with these grips you can make them last by taking them off your stick after they've gotten wet and put them in the airing cupboard to dry. The colours I've seen so far are; Orange, Green, white, black, yellow and pink. The Grips are so soft and spongy to hold, as the saying goes 'It says what it does on the tin' and so it does, the grip is not slippery at all compared to other grips which have a plastic feel. The colour doesn't wear at all which is always a plus since the colours are luminous. The Grip also doesn't soak in any sweat even tho

My New Recent Makeup Buys

Image
Hey guys it SeenByGrean here with my latest purchases from various shops such as; Inglot and Essence. The product to the left and above is Ingot's 'sparkling dust'. This is the best and one of the cheaper highlighting products in relation to the Anastasia sparkling dust in nectar which is almost double the price. It contains a buffer which can be used to apply it but I prefer to use an angled brush to get the correct and precise angle above the cheek bone. You only need to apply a little bit to your cheeks, top of your nose and above your lip. As you need barely any it lasts so long! Its 20 euro and can be purchased online or in store. http://inglot.ie/face-body/powder.html I've started to use this product is now in my day to day makeup routine instead of foundation. I feel that it doesn't block pores and gives a light finish for a subtle look for school or work. This product is only 4 euro. I purchased this in pennys, you can find out more details on it

Beaubelle Cosmetics Cream Contour Kit and A Cape from forevermodo

Image
Hey Guys, Seen By Grean here, So for my first post, Im going to talk about two new products I got recently; a Cape in black from forevermodo and a cream contour kit from beaubelle cosmetics. When I first ordered the cape I was a bit apprehensive since its one size as to if it would be too wide or too long as I'm a size 8 and quite small. Having tried it on, it cuts quite short, not covering your legs so that it gives your shape definition which I was delighted about. The Cape also has a knitted fold over high neck which replicates a snood look which would lessen the need to wear a scarf with it but you can if you want. It has a whole for one arm, so it sits on your body without the need of a belt. I would advice wearing a black long sleeve t-shirt underneath. It is a lovely thick material which is not itchy or annoying in anyway. I am so happy with this and I would definetly buy it in blue. I believe that it was a reasonable price too. Its great with a pair of jeans or tights
